They removed the 64kbps files because they deemed (correctly) that the quality was too low for us audiophiles. Try the VBR Zip or Lossless Zip instead. Alternatively download the files individually and gauge your success on a file by file basis.

Dear tbone steak alacarte,
I don't think you understood my problem. (No one does!)When I try to open the downloaded files (downloaded with lossless zip or VBR ZIP) my computer has seizures; it flashes on and off, empty frames appear and disappear; I'm unable to close anything normally and have to force shut down. Any idea at all what's happening?

you might perhaps try posting your concerns in a more appropriate forum, although i suspect you have either a virus/malware on your computer (or your brain) and would best be served focusing your energy in that direction; or failing both those suggestions, we do have a resident tech expert who goes by the handle RBNW..., and he very well may have some sage advice for you...
